About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer with at least 5+ years of experience in product design to lead and elevate our product design initiatives. This role involves designing, managing, and optimizing user experiences and design systems to deliver consistent, user-centered, and innovative outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership:
- Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept to delivery.
- Advocate for design best practices to maintain a high standard of visual and interaction design.
- Design System Development:
- Build, maintain, and evolve the design system to ensure consistency across all products.
- Introduce innovative and scalable solutions to address existing gaps in uniformity.
- User-Centered Design:
- Conduct and synthesize user research to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and detailed UI designs based on user needs and business goals.
- Collaboration:
- Partner with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align design outcomes with business objectives.
- Facilitate design critiques, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to foster a culture of design thinking.
- Mentorship and Guidance:
- Provide mentorship to team members to nurture design skills within the team.
- Act as a bridge between design and development to ensure successful implementation.
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work.
- Must have a Computer Science background or equivalent in BS or MSc.
- Expertise in design tools such as Figma & Adobe XD.
- Strong understanding of software products, developer tools, and technical concepts.
- Experience with design systems, interaction design, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
- Exceptional communication skills to present and justify design decisions effectively.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a must.
